~SweetSmoochy 's third doll of mine, this one's actually quite small. She wanted him to be quite scaley so I've made individual scales from plastic, coated them with an iridescent sparkly blue car paint on a purple/indigo base and glued them on. He has lots of latex features, back spine, tail fin.. His wings are latex and suede and only have wire along the top - different for me but he needed wings that would fit in with Ty's budget. I can offer these as a low-cost alternative to fully posable latex and rubber wings like on Alder and the Aquamarine dragon.

His fur is airbrushed minky. It was originally cream coloured. The bars were a little bit of a challenge as they had to go from LIGHT pink to dark purple - purple obvs being easy on top of blue but the light pink meant I had to mask the fur underneath while I airbrushed the blue on. All kind of interesting and fun and new.
