Description The showiest of the Swedish orchids. Not the easiest one to paint due to the yellow slipper, yellow is a tricky colour to paint and add shadows to. I made a neutral grey mix and painted the shadows of the poach and then I put a wet yellow wash on top of it. Β 

The brown petals where mostly painted with drybrush and patience...Β
