Whoot! Classic Sonic. It's been a long time since I saw any fanart of him. Sonic's second look since the Dreamcast doesn't really make him look any cooler than the classic Sonic. The reason being he's wearing gold bling-bling buckles on his shoes now. Gold Buckles, SEGA? Seriously?
I'm not much of a fan of any of Sonic's new games after the Dreamcast died out... Expect for Sonic Riders and my favorite Sonic series, Sonic Rivials. Sonic Rivials brought to life 'Ice Sonic' which was Sonic's second coolest look since his classic look back in 1991. Check out youtube for Sonic Rivials outfits and 'Ice Sonic' will pop up. He looks just as cool as Classic Sonic and the best part is that the annoying gold buckles on his shoes is finally gone! Thank god!
Oh, yeah by the way, sweet classic Sonic fanart. You should draw more of him or 'Ice Sonic' if you like his looks. If you don't, that's okay. But I've got a feeling you might like it.

Metal smiling is a little eerie. XD I don't remember ever drawing him with a mouth when I used to draw him all the time. But his lot-so-malicious-more-rivalry-than-enemy expression is an interesting take on him.
Yay! I like how you drew Sonic with the Super Peel Out run instead of just a regular circular one. I also like the motion on his quills...And his old-school style expression.
This takes me back. I need to play the old games again...

Well actually, that's not a smile. It's more of a dark shine on his face, but it's all good.
Yeah, I love the Peel out from Sonic CD, after watching the Sonic OVA, I relized that's how he runs... but then he changed again when he got "threeeeeeeeee DDDeeeeeeee" I think this is my first old styled Sonic in a looooonnngggg time.
