UpdatedAdded Eggrobo, fixed Doctor Eggman's arms and added more dark lines.
Not very pleased with this picture, was just having some fun, there are some errors in this picture, I'll go back and fix them. A picture of the new Dr. Eggman design and Grounder from Sonic 2. I was going to draw Scratch too, but he doesn't refernce anyone from the games except for that badnik from the Wing Fortress, and Coconuts... no one likes him.

Wow! I love how adorable you made the Buzzbomber's face compared to the more anime-ish EggRobo, the mechanical Grounder, and of course, the great Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik! EggRobo himself does look amazing in your style. He looks like he has more of a mind of his own and reminds me a bit of Decoe and Bocoe, but he is more of a threat with that blaster. And Grounder, I love how he's not the dim witted-sounding yet somewhat lovable idiot, and more of your typical silent robot made to follow orders to a T. And Dr. Eggman, here I thought Sonic '06 couldn't make Eggman look more realistically human. I was wrong! The details you added makes his costume look more realistic as well as the size of his body! There's still a hint of cartoon in it, especially with that mustache being twice as big as Super Mario's

Hey, this is amazing. I really like the way you drew Dr. Eggman, he looks truly awesome here. His mustache looks great here.
Grounder looks adorable here, almost makes me feel bad for what always happens to him in The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon.

Yeah, the game version was the best. Although I really did like Breezie the hedgehog. Just tweak her design and she's perfect. Heheh, I did a sketch of her and Mecha Sonic (Sonic 3&K). Once I get my scanner all hooked up in a day or so I should be able to scan it in and send it.
You know, I wish they would of made a Sonic cartoon/anime based off of Sonic 1-3K (which I call the Deathegg Saga). I mean, Adventures of Sonic was a slap stick comedy with nothing to do with the Genesis games at the time, SatAM was the same way except it dealt with a dark theme with the comic characters, Sonic Underground was way out there, the OAV also didn't have much to do with the Deathegg Saga, and Sonic X minorly dealt with the Sonic Adventure 1&2 games and off from there (plus the obligatory human kid sidekick).
Not that I dislike any other continuity, it's all fine by me. I wonder why they didn't use the source material from the Sonic 1&3k Genesis games. I mean, I understand ever since the Dreamcast came out, but during the early ninties when Sonic was at the peak of his popularity.

You should be more happy with this, it's quite good. A very nice rendition of the original Grounder robot, too.

Every time I look at Eggman, I here his voice in my head.

Wooo! Nice job on the epic new Eggman design! That's a pretty cool update on Grounder's design, too. But yeah, the Eggman is what really shines here, I think, cause of all of the detail in his upper body.
I like Coconuts! XD I remember the first Sonic comic I ever was number 2 where it was an AoSTH adaptation and it showed the beginning of Coconuts and Scratch and Grounder! XP
...I wonder why they made Grounder greenish-blue in the cartoon when he was red in the games... o_O XP

Coconuts is pretty similar except colors are off, some things are simplified and some things are exaggerated to give him personality. Designwise its the same with Grounder...there's no need for the little Foot Soldier badguys in games to exhibit any personality, but when they are a character on a cartoon they need some. The color changes are pretty random, though. XP
Yeah, the old Robotnik designs are way off on both of the shows. XP

I loved Grounder in the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. I used to watch that show early morn' along with Teenaged Mutant Ninja turtles.
