Description
This is a gift to Morninglight2 for her story 'The blighted and the bold'.Β www.fanfiction.net/s/10127752/β¦Her heroine Brytta. Initially I had all of Duncan as well before I realised this image is all about this fabulous woman. It's my first try at doing a dwarf (discounting Oghren). I like to think this is her first glimpse at the topside and she takes it in stride.

Thank you! Brytta is, I think, my totally favourite Warden and the one who is, quite frankly, never allowed in the canon story because she's so OP she'd kill the archdemon in a heartbeat. At Ostagar. ^_^

Just the way she is! Defiant, gutsy and strong. I like the pose. It looks like she's going to take the surface by the balls and make it do her bidding. Thedas beware! The dark hues with a hint of warmth are nice and I love the strong almost scribbly strokes of red in her hair. I wonder what the painting would have looked like had we seen Duncan's hand resting lightly on her shoulder? I can't decide if it would work or not.

A beautiful dwarven Warden! As a passionate fan of the dwarven origins (Dwarf Noble in particular) it's wonderful to see art of the dwarven characters. I like the glimpse of Duncan's armor in the background too.

Thank you!Β Β She is my canon Aeducan Warden. Playing a dwarf is quite a lot of fun, and makes the Orzammar questline very interesting and personal. Elves, especially City Elf in my opinion, are also definitely worth playing. It's unfortunate Duncan only appears so briefly in the game, I like him very much myself!

Morninglight provided a screenshot of her Brytta and I took it from there. Used mostly pencils with water-color look&feel AND I've actually learnt to create a few myself. And thank you, the hair was a bit of an experiment, she's a bit on the wild side so I wanted to give her rebellious hair.

Oh, look, Brytta's specialties are Legion Scout from Awakenings and Assassin, so they compliment each other very well.
If I ever do a Brytta playthrough, she'd probably romance our favourite Antivan elf.
