been wanting to paint this one for ages!
some people will look at this & see some kind of dark meaning, particularly those who've been raised with that christian "sheep go to heaven, goats go to hell" thing. not me though: i was raised on various farms & i know the quirky sweet personalities goats have. it would be just like my old Sascha (the milk goat i had when i was 15) to spot a comfy chair & sit on it without a thought for it's value! probably have a nibble on it later when she was hungry too! so this is a surreal, fairytale, memory lane, comedy painting to me!
