Or... "Friends of The Ferals"
Dedicated to two true gems of friends Teresa
and Mel who have been so completely amazing to me, since I have met each of them.

I am so blessed by their complete warmth, thoughtfulness, and benevolence, and it's their friendship in which that has been the true gift this whole time.
I certainly cannot thank them enough for supporting The Shelter Project so heavily and with so much enthusiasm, and ultimately in every way that one can!
This moves me beyond measure, knowing what this indeed does for the animals. 's

Our TWO permanent ferals:

It is VERY rare to get a shot of them together... and the only way is under our very dark back porch.

It is a very long story, of over a year long of what we have been through to get our immediate neightbourhood to THIS point, and now to only have THESE two ferals left, EACH spayed and neutered, and shots, through The South Coast Humane Society where I volunteer, and with some continued support, such as worm medications, etc.,

These days, they are so much closer with us, living on our back porch.
Here, they are on top of their feral house- the 2nd one we've constructed... we have plans for a 3rd, as we continue to try to improve, with what scraps we can find.

Inside is lining and a couple of beds. They especially love it when it is raining... there is a big bed, by the backdoor, where I actually feed them... so they have and use options.

I can currently pet Winston fairly easily now! And... I can pet Raya during feeding time!
Never thought THAT day would come.
They are as good as can be, in this kind of condition.
