Dedicated to my good friend Mel
for his belated BIRTHDAY, which was August 30th.
Sorry to be so late... but I know, you know...

Mel has been such a good friend to me here on dA for a really long time.
He's been much like a brother, to be honest, concerned for my welfare and such.
Besides his fabulous photography, which you should visit,
Mel is a kind-hearted and compassionate person.

Dearest Mel,
I send you my best wishes and good thoughts, for special occasions, such as your birthday, but anytime,
for I think of you often, and wish for you goodness and well-being. I hope there will be great things in store in your coming year! Your Friend/Sis, Tea

Photographed is one of my two ferals, who is actually pretty domestic with me, at least. His name is Winston, and Mel had grown a bit of an interest/fondness for him from this oceanic distance. Mel says Winston is my British feral, and Raya my female feral, and Winston's partner, is our Portuguese feral. (If you know Mel & Teresa you might get this.)
I do not deny this.

By the way, they are both doing quite well.
Need to get a recent photo of both of them together. He is still the more domestic one, where she's just a bit more skitterish, yet.
