Starting in 2007, I was brought on-board to illustrate original all-new comic books to be inserted into two-figure action figure packs for Hasbro's G.I. Joe 25th Anniversary line.The comics were written by GI Joe creator Larry Hama, and the stories based during the original 80s comic run. I've illustrated several of these, and the first three (Wave 3) hit in the March 2008. Wave 4, featured here, was just released! Get 'em now!
Hasbro recently released 5 page previews of the Shipwreck/Copperhead issue that I did for Wave 4 in stores now, so since the cat is out of the bag I thought I'd toss some pencils of the released pages in here to show some around.

Hehehe! I love that last "panel" with Cobra Commander and Dr. Mindbender, undoubtedly making some sour comment at being so heinously splashed. I like that a fun panel like that is present, that they're not taking things too seriously and can have a little cartoony fun here and there. And Cobra Commander's pose is great; he's angry but the outward rage hasn't quite made it out yet. And Mindbender's soggy moustache makes me giggle, too.
