XD You can get this effect with watercolors and white shaving cream too. Just pull a ruler down over it to get the shaving cream off. This looks awesome though. I love the colors and the birds.

shaving cream? O that sounds pretty awesome. I'll try that one out for sure, if I manage to get my hand on some shaving cream.

that's really amazing and I really think this fits your dad. I mean birds are the signs of freedom, your dad is a free bird.
Lovely abstract collors by the way. But It does not remind me to watercolors, but it does look like inks. even tough inks are more expensive than watercolor so if it was the meaning to look like it'd be done with inks, you did great.

Hmm, I hadn't thought of it that way. It indeed fit him quite well What a lovely coincidence.
And I have to say I'm not entirely sure if it were watercolors. I found them somewere in a cupboard at my school and since I had to add water in order to paint with them I assumed they were watercolors. But I actually haven't got a clue.
The colors weren't like this, by the way. The original picture way purple-blue and not even nearly as bright as this one. That's the heavy photoshop editing part.

haha, you know your dad so well, that you did this unaware.
it shows to be orange, red, yellow and some purple spots on your digitalized drawing. I thought the photoshop part were the birds.
well there is some difference between watercolour and watercollor, watercolour is aquarel and watercollor is waterverf (van dat spul wat je bijvoorbeeld bij de intertoys of bruna kan kopen).

I haven't got a clue, I'm not really into paint.
No, the birds were the aquarel part, yeah the description isn't really clear, I'm aware of that.
